Hey everyone!

A couple of years ago, I began my learning journey with a 60x60x120 cm tent and a 125w Kingbrite with Lm301h Mix Epistar 660nm.

Now that I'm moving to a new place with plenty of space, I'm considering upgrading my setup. I'm thinking about either an 80x80x160 or a 100x100x180 tent, and I believe a 240W lamp would suit my needs perfectly.

However, I live in Western Europe, and I noticed that Kingbrite is only available on Alibaba or Aliexpress. When I bought my first board, I ended up paying 80€ customs fees. I also can't find HLG options here.

If anyone in Europe has experience with sourcing good grow lights, I would really appreciate your advice! Thank you! :)

I just had to share this with you guys.
I'm finally growing shit better than I could buy at the dispensary for $500/ounce.

SugarCane by In-House (Slurricane X Platinum)

Smells like glue and berries, strong smell of hash.

Grown in 5gal DWC with Lotus nutes, CalMag, Si, Fish Shit, and Orca.

Only got an ounce from this plant, but I don't even care because of the quality. got clones of her so I'll be stocked all winter and spring with this glorious strain.

Here is how it looked in week 6: https://lemmy.world/post/9264237

I have finally been pheno hunting small packs (5-6) of good genetics to find the freaks. Found out quick that this is the right way to do things.

I just had to come share this with you guys, I'm blown away.

Sugar Cane is Slurricane X Platinum, grown in 5Gal DWC with Lotus nutes, Si, CalMag, FishShit, and Orca.

This pheno was by far the slowest grower, smallest buds. I thought for sure it would be tossed in favor of the larger plants that were flowering faster.

Now that I am in week 6 I can tell this is the clear winner. It still has the smallest buds, but is insanely frosty compared to the others. It's really greasy and smells like heaven.

Look at it's sister in the background, that would have been my favorite in week 4. Now she is green while this prized pheno is practically lavender and white.

*So *glad the clone of this pheno survived (#4 didn't). I will be growing this all winter now.

Finally at the point where my homegrown is better than anything I can buy at my local dispensary, even the $500 oz stuff.

I'm wanting to flip to flower in the next week. First grow ever so I focused on not killing anything vs. taking my time training them well.

Is it too late to top these beauties to:

A: manage my height before flipping to 12/12 B: improve my canopy and therefore yield C: mess around with and perfect some cloning techniques.

Any advice is much appreciated!

Album! This is a 'Froot by the Foot' from Atlas Seeds at ~7wk. Using Cybele Labs nutrients. Expecting to harvest in about 5 weeks.

Going to take off some more dried leaves tonight and should finish up this week.

Mango smile been a rough grow, but damn she's frosty!

It'll bounce back, just bummed.

If I'm growing inside, how far away can you smell it? I see grows where they don't even use a tent, that has to be smelly. I just want to grow one plant or two at a time and I don't want to invest a lot of money. Ideally less than 200 for equipment.

First time running this one. Veg was a little slow at first, and flowering took a few weeks to really start after flip. Think she's gonna go a little past ten weeks, but frosting up nicely.

The two in the back are Afghan from Grower's Choice, the three in the front are Black Widow from ILGM. The Afghans are about a week older than the Widows. I'm probably flipping on Saturday but I might give it another week or even two, what do you think?

CDLC coming along very well. Mango Smile is making me frown, definitely not an easy grow.

The Mango Smile up front is show some deficiencies, added some PK to to her feed today. Hope it straightens up.

I've been growing for my partner and me for a little over a year now, and have worked out most of the hiccups in my process. Now I'm looking to grow my favorite strain, Skywalker OG. I have no idea who the original breeder was; I was buying it in oil carts made by Crystal Clear out in Washington state, but stopped once the pandemic hit.

I've tried the Mephisto Skywalker and it wasn't the same, so I'm asking for help from the knowledgeable folks here. Please throw your recs my way! My preference is for autoflower (because I am not on top of stuff enough to do photos), but I mean, I have a small second tent...
