General Falconry Things

I've had a slow start this year but I could not have expected a better first hunt! They did really well which I'm very happy for because there are some meet ups soon and I was afraid they would be out of sorts for them. Confidence boost for sure.

Catch compilation from last season

Good article that gives a nod to how falconers were integral in the Peregrine Falcons recovery. Falconers were a big contributor to the captive bred population and many released birds with no compensation.

Wife slightly impulse bought a harris hawk and we're spending this weekend getting the other birds used to him so we can all fly together.

All the birds have been moved indoors so we're weathering a bit today.
