THE GAMES... THE ROMANCE... THE SPIRIT... CAMELOT IS A STATE OF MIND.

A medieval reenactment troupe struggles to maintain its family-like dynamic amid pressure from local authorities, interest from talent agents, and their "King's" delusions of grandeur.

An excellent "knights jousting on motorcycles" -flick from the father of the modern zombie movie, George A. Romero. It's less pulpy fun and more social commentary drama than you might expect from a b-movie.

It's George Romero. Dawn of Dead 1978 was zombies in a mall. His thing was social commentary in a B movie format.

This is available to me on Kanopy.com through my public library. Added it to my watchlist.

Holy shit Ed Harris?! I gotta see this

Yep! ..and (makeup/FX God) Tom Savini, Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead), John Amplas (from Romero's very underappreciated vampire movie, Martin), Patricia Tallman (Babylon 5), and many more. Knightriders is a real who's who when it comes to Romero's Pittsburgh crew/family.

And my man is riding a Honda CBX on the poster. I approve wholeheartedly of this.

[–] ElmarsonTheThird@feddit.de 3 points 7 months ago

That actually is the only reason I clicked on the link. The CBX seemed too perfect.

I loved this movie as a kid. I even made a knight’s shield out of cardboard to mount on the handles of my bike. Peak nerd shit.

I don't know much about engines but is that a v12 on the motorcycle in the poster? Seems a bit much. Also like your leg could hit the engine and burn it to all hell.

Looks like an inline 6. I think Honda actually made one in the 80s.

Watched it some time ago based on the poster. Didn't read up, expected spaghetti post apo. It was quite the surprise and actually a really good movie.
