For me, it's every time Hedwig gives Harry the eye, like when Professor Grubbly-Plank disappeared into the staff room carrying Hedwig, who was staring at Harry as though unable to believe he would give her away like this.

Not sure if this fits, but there is a double entendre in DH which I'm not sure was intenional.

and Harry thought inexplicably of Ginny, and her blazing look, and the feel of her lips on his—

This can be read two ways:

and Harry thought inexplicably of Ginny, and her blazing look, and the feel of her lips on his [lips]

and Harry thought inexplicably of Ginny, and her blazing look, and the feel of her lips on his ____

Seems a bit of a strange thing for the author to allude to, but why else cut the sentence short at that exact position?
