The more I read about the Teamsters and the deal they managed to get, the more I wonder what's going on with what was a very promising union.

All the big corporate unions are like this. They've been captured by groups that are more inclined to work for the corporate owners and the "friendly" politicians than for the union members.

Yes, I completely agree. There seemed to be some hope with the latest election from the Teamsters. I guess that's what you get for hoping.......

Very disappointing they didn't fight harder for new and non-union drivers. I imagine if they had fought too hard though Congress would have passed a bill making striking illegal or some nonsense like they did with rail workers.
