Listening to my modified Minimus 7’s highlight the poor mixing of the Alan Parsons Project.
I love Alan Parsons album The Turn of a Friendly Card. It’s in my parents record collection, and as a kid i adored the cover art for the album. It’s a concept album, a story of a gambler. Some really catchy tunes peppered throughout, played by some pretty amazing musicians. It definitely sounds like it came out around 1980 (in a good way, imo). The hit single from the album “Time” is a beautiful tune… So chill and airy, love it 😙🤌
