Maybe they should start making landline style phones that take a SIM card but otherwise look and function like the phones of yesteryear.
They look cool, also i like the old circular dial telephones with the bells on top. Feels like being called out of the matrix in any time.
Bring back 2010-2019 smartphones, especially the ones with physical home buttons and notification LEDs
I can see limited use for a land line if you changed your cell number and then only gave out the land line number to companies. There are probably cheaper ways utilizing Google voice numbers of protecting the privacy of your main cell number though.
Or dual SIM phones.
God I fucking hate zoomers. They would literally eat shit if gives them popularity on social media. It's genuinely frightening to believe the future of humanity lies in their hands.

Happens with every generation.
The difference is that humans want to feel some outreach to others around them, and now there's a trap based on that. Just don't be a unit of that popularity. As in "don't doomscroll and like\dislike".
There is no future for humanity.
