The top 2 are gonna Haaland and Kane, they make everyone else in their leagues look like farmers.

[–] LunarRaven7@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Kane may actually win the ballon dor.

[–] Muhammad_ghouri@alien.top 0 points 2 years ago (1 children)

The 4 with the best chances are him , Bellingham, mbappe and haaland. Haaland will have a disadvantage because of not going to euros. Mbappe has a very good chance of falling out of the ucl in the group stage. Kane and Bellingham have the same national team. Provided that England performs well in the euros and maybe even wins it it will probably comes down to which of bayern or Madrid performs better in the ucl.

Had me in the first half ngl

[–] uchiha_boy009@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Bellingham?

[–] Clean-Opening-2884@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I wish I could see the timeline where Kane went to Man City.

Would have been quite a thing to behold I imagine. Hope he still breaks the PL record.

Not to be like 'uhm Ackhually' this is just pure Luuk de Jong propaganda but this is purely the league. If you factor in European matches (and the JCS) Luukinho has 25 goal contributions, making him second behind Kane only

idk why but the league thingy is in german lol

[–] JN324@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The top of that list makes it seem like the Eredivisie is incredibly easy to get goal contributions in.

[–] 53bvo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lol that market value column, all these €40-80M players and then you have Luuk at €4M

Messi and Ronaldo broke the trend by consistently scoring a goal a game. Now everyone is at it.

Back in the 90s if a striker got a goal every 2 games they'd be heavily praised.

High press is a serious drug.

[–] lazysoup12@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

but could kane do it in the prem

[–] DutchMadness77@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Maybe for one good season but not consistently

[–] deeesenutz@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He put up brilliant numbers even when spurs were shit lol, on a team like city or liverpool he couldve dominated the prem similarily to what he is doing now.

[–] Agitated_Ad6191@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

In Giminez case it’s Eredivisie level we’re talking about. Every league under the top 4/5 gives you zero guarantees they can do it on a higher level.

[–] TheDutchTank@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No league gives you garantuees you can do it in another league, or even a different team in the same league.

[–] Conscient-@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Pavlidis... Instead we got Arthur Cabral.

[–] wtlk@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Mbappé should be a lot higher if Dembelé could score lol.

[–] jofstra@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Afonso Alves, Giakoumakis, Gimenez

[–] mattijn13@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Giakoumakis

He did okay for Celtic and is now on 17 goals in 27 MLS games which is pretty decent. Honestly that's kinda what I expected from somebody like him who scored 26 for VVV Venlo.

Copa America winner Afonso Alves will forever be an enigma, came out of nowhere, blew the eredivisie away, never do anything after again and just dissapear into the sunset.

[–] tomhanks95@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Hey Afonso Alves scored a hat-trick against Man City in an 8-1 demolition I will have you know

[–] IVIorgz@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Is this just league stats? Because Gyökeres should be in this otherwise

[–] ElCiobo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

2nd season syndrome for Haaland

[–] ritwikjs@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

umm, where's bellingham?

[–] Games_sans_frontiers@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Kane is flourishing. Great to see.

[–] sbrockLee@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yer a wizard, 'Arry

[–] brush85@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Top 10 leagues...why stop there?!

Anyhooo, Kane is now Messi. Insane numbers

[–] paritan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Where's Onana in this list?

[–] Gamingforever1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Wow Santi is more of a threat than I thought.

[–] PelleKavaj@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I remember seeing a goal by Gimenez when he first came to Feyenoord. It was a header, Ronaldo-esque. There was something so fucking class about it that I’ve since then been certain he would make it big.

[–] adentist1@alien.top 0 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Salah would have been first if Nunez took his chances....

[–] prophecy0091@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Kdb would have 3 ballon dors if Sterling could finish

[–] AdminEating_Dragon@alien.top 0 points 2 years ago (1 children)

How is Pavlidis scoring so much in AZ?

Is he a tap-in merchant in a league with open defenses?

It's baffling, every time he's played with the national team he is a total donkey.

Might be a Gekas phenomenon, an all around average striker who somehow was top scorer of the Bundesliga for a season with Bochum.

[–] Tristan_573@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Exactly what you said
