just watched the Watford highlights and noticed two watford players were not wearing any,i thought players had to wear them

It's still a rule, but since there's no rules on how big they are more and more players are just wearing completely useless, incredibly tiny ones.

They do but they are really tiny shinpads these days, presumably because they want the flexibility/speed?
