I realize they also have a mark in their eye (so do I funny enough) but the pupil is also bigger than the right side, which depending on the situation can be a sign to take to the vet.

Example

If the colored spot is like a bubble that moves around, it may be a uveal cyst. It does look to be the case as the bubble overlaps the pupil a bit in the image. There's not much to do about them as surgery causes more harm than the blob itself. There are two types of cyst but I don't remember the difference. The vet can and should check if there are orbs inside the eyeball as those cause bigger vision impairment, but I doubt it at that stage. Since there's not much that can be done about the situation, there's not really a rush to check, it's not a death sentence, just a risk of having eyeballs.

As can the U tongue be, as I found out. If it's near constant, it messes with their ability to eat.

Truly. My orange boy never ceases to amaze in how he simultaneously embodies the majesty of ancient pharaoh's, and the goofiness of... well, an orange cat.

I don't want to be an alarmist, but a spot like that was a sign of a serious fungal infection for one of mine. If you don't know already what the spot is, ask your vet about cryptococcus infection. 💖
