Don’t agree with getting a prison sentence for something like this. But the thick cunt should just try to not be an absolute pillock and none of this would’ve happened to him.

Suspended from what? Why does England have weird laws like this. Like it’s not right but Jesus Christ it’s just words that don’t affect 99.9% past a base level.
Fair judgment. Socially, he's been wrecked, and will suffer the consequences for a lifetime. And if local rumours are to be believed, he's been knocked around a bit too. I don't think a short prison sentence will punish him any further, and he's not exactly a threat to the public at large.
While what the dude did is terrible. And the football team banning him from their stadium fair. I really can't get behind it being illegal. This may be my American sensibilities but he should not face criminal charges for speaking. The team can ban him sure but jail? Seriously?

Criminalising speech is such a regrettable thing that it should only be done in the most extreme circumstances. This does not meet the threshold for me.
Glad Wednesday have dished out a considerable ban though.
It's disgraceful that he's been rewarded with a stadium ban. Surely being forced to watch Wednesday every week would be a severe deterrent.
