Strip Manchester City of every title after 2008 and demote them to league 2 then.

Fuck this shit, bugger clubs shouldn’t be able to get away with this. Everton could get demoted and even bankcrupt for this but City who’s done 100x worse are celebrated.

City cant relate

[–] simpodemayo@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

1150 pt deduction when?

[–] 10-10-2022@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Undeniable proof the Premier League is corrupted when other teams who we know who they are get away with numerous FFP breaches and made up shell companies 'sponsored' business get away with it.

Prehaps a super league of the corrupted teams isn't a bad thing at least those who are left can play in a fairer league afterwards.

[–] Rickcampbell98@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

If man City and Chelsea get nothing throw this league in the fucking bin.

[–] Nyushi@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

And City will walk away with zero consequences because you've even got the foreign office discussing City's charges with the UAE.

Corrupt, disgusting club.

They can count themselves lucky they got charged this season and not last season. Not sure what all the sympathy for them is about. They cheated and got punished.

City likely haven't been punished yet because a case with over 100 charges is going to a lot more complicated, and I can imagine City's team of lawyers are making it easy either.

[–] MikeOchertz@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

If the rules applied to everyone, City would be relegated to League 2 in 1984

[–] PDubsinTF-NEW@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

What about Man City and Chelsea?

[–] fruitofthrloom@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Scapegoat. The big boys have paid off these people and they all get away with it. Time will stand by Everton.

[–] dickiebow@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Everton get docked ten points for one violation. Man City currently have 114 violations against them. Should they all stand, does that mean Man City get 1140 point deduction across all leagues?

[–] DSQ@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

This is what happened to Luton back in the day. Apparently.

[–] SonKaiser@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Honestly, I believe in Sean Dyche. They'll not go down

[–] ibse@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I would NOT want to play Everton at Goodison Park now

[–] Justinian2@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Am gutted for them seems crazy harsh unless City get nuked (fingers crossed)

[–] TarienCole@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The EPL is really mad at Manchester City and Chelsea for finding ways to avoid the rules.

So Everton takes the blame.

Tell me how FFP is better than a Luxury Tax again.

[–] BDR529forlyfe@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Now do City! Now do City!

[–] BetterCallXiao@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

lol? Man C...

[–] insaneking101@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

City and Chelsea will never get punished by UEFA because they simply generate too much money/their owners invest too much money. As long as large amounts of money are involved there will always be corruption

[–] the-good-son@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Can't believe I'm on Everton's side in this one. Deduct points from Man city you fucking cowards

[–] dudetotalypsn@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

It's not looking good bruv

[–] Sr_Starbucks@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I love 777 partners

[–] slinkymello@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Wait, haha… incredible, but nothing for Chelsea and Man City?? This is total insanity

[–] fru1tmerchant@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Should have deducted the points last season.

[–] Soren_Camus1905@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Bro what???

[–] securinight@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

A non-punishment when the promoted teams are so bad. Everton will still stay up. This just sends the message that teams can do what they want and get away with it.

If they were actually serious, then this would have happened last season. Everton being relegated as a result of breaking the rules would have sent a much clearer message to every other club.

[–] skisagooner@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Arsenal fan here. I think it’s ridiculous to deduct points which were earned by the players and the team. This is an offence committed by the club and so for the sake of sporting integrity, the appropriate punishment should be towards the club without impacting the team.

Reinstate the points and impose a harsh ban on registration of new players.

[–] ssk1996@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Man City when?

[–] ParanoidHumanoid1@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

If this is the standard they're going to set for minimal financial mismanagement I expect, as should everyone else who follows the league, that a club like City will be expelled from the Premier League. If they are found guilty on even a fraction of their 115 charges the PL cannot hold back simply because of the revenue the club's corrupt tyrant owner brings to the league. If City is ignored, I'm not sure how the PL and FA have any ounce of integrity or trust left, and how anyone watching the league thinks the outcome of any proceeding season is meaningful.

[–] jofstra@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Great now do City next cowards

[–] Maleficent_Dust_7462@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I’m not an Everton fan but I really can’t believe how biased this league is on punishment. City and Chelsea would never be punished like this. The sport really is gone huh

[–] xckd9@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

This sets them up perfect to give City a 100k fine

[–] Tamelmp@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Cool now strip city and chelsea of all their filthy "trophies"

[–] alw9@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

joke league

[–] AaronQ94@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Hey Premier League..... Do Man City and Chelsea you cowards

[–] CNF-13@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

A certain club has 115 charges I’m guessing the get chucked in the national league or?

[–] Lakinther@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I really hope this is somehow setting the stage for relegating Man City. Otherwise... wtf?

[–] aistolethekids@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

So wonder if Pep will fancy playing Wrexham next season if they get relegated

[–] expert_on_the_matter@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

This is setting up City to get demoted, isn't it?

[–] singabro@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

So they had the money to spend, but broke PL rules which permit some clubs to spend more than others? Got it. Calling a closed shop "sustainability" is like an oil company using "environmentally friendly"

[–] DangerouslyCheesey@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Ok cool now so City

[–] Phulmine@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Manchester City: i sleep

Everton: real shit

[–] GoldenGodd94@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Man City never docked anything....

[–] astronaut_098@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Meanwhile Manchester City are scratching their asses with Qatari riyals and drinking fine oil flavored with the richness of the deserts, laughing at the FA who are still figuring out a way to charge City with over 300 infractions

[–] Quick9Ben5@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Simps out here begging for City to be punished and im still convinced City never broke a single rule. Shits hilarious.

[–] karnnumart@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

They're not being punished because you spend too much. They're punished because they did not spend enough.

[–] islander1@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Still waiting on City's penalties...
