Supporting links can be added in comments or posted seperately but not to the post body.

Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.

4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source.

Posts which titles don’t match the source won’t be removed, but the autoMod will notify you, and if your title misrepresents the original article, the post will be deleted. If the site changed their headline, the bot might still contact you, just ignore it, we won’t delete your post.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.

The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.

10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

What was their end game? I mean what were they gaining by holding onto the bodies?

Potentially letting the bodies hit the floor

The only thing I can think of is taking the money for performing the burials. Families pay top dollar for a "green" burial and then they just stash the body and the basement and keep the profit. Seems like they should have found a way to bury the bodies to avoid this whole thing. Or mental illness?

Funerals should not be a for profit thing. You get preyed on by companies from even before birth all the way to after your death and even beyond (cemetary plot rental fees). When humans die, they should be buried naked in the ground with no embalming. That is the greenest, cheapest, hygienic and most energy conserving method of disposing a dead body. Death should not be masked by formalin and corpse paint.

The articles recommended when you try to leave Ars Techica aren't restricted to any kind of recent news so I got a headline that Aaron Swartz had been arrested for JSTOR downloads and had a whole "what year is it!?" moment.
