Until these medieval belief countries modernise, none of them should be allowed to hold a global event.

On the bright side though, by 2034 they'll have ruined the sport to the extent that no one's gonna watch that anyway.

[–] araheem94@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Screw Fifa. Let's just have a nations super league.

This also sets up the 2038 WC to back to the US

[–] furious_organism@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

[–] stinky_pinky_brain@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I really hope the FBI arrests Infantino and the rest of these corrupt fucks once they are all here in the USA for the next World Cup

[–] last_strip_of_bacon@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

For fucks sake

[–] stor33x@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Honestly I can't believe the national federation are putting up with this, same for the players. I'll boycott it again

[–] hawtfabio@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Just FIFA things

[–] DrunkenBlasphemer@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Was there ever any doubt? We all saw this coming. Sportwashing works. Some of us on Reddit who actually give a shit are a small, tiny minority. The vast majority of football fans in the world are apathetic at best. I will absolutely refuse to watch a second of it, and I hope Croatia fails to qualify.

Sad day for football

[–] Sr_DingDong@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

God forbid I should ever get to go to a World Cup.

Fifa needs to be abolished. Bunch of corrupted fucks running it

They really massacred the wc.

2018 in the authoritarian state of russia

2022 in qatar

Only 2026 with usa and mexico a good one

2030 a butchered 100 year anniversary wc in 5 countries and 3 continents.

2034 in saudi arabia

2038 will be in china I guess lol

I'm never going to see a world cup in Australia in my lifetime am i

At this rate 2038 will be hosted by Israel and Palestine

[–] tostuiabanale@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Saudi Arabia has hosted various sporting events, but the World Cup is a different level of magnitude.

[–] LostItAllOnSpy@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

the world: why can't saudia arabia be more like europe and the west

saudia arabia: ok we will develop our sports leagues and host the world cup

the world: I can't believe this! this is outrageous

[–] BenParer@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I hate FIFA so much.

Let’s hope with green energy that Saudi oil is turned off by 2034 and the World Cup bankrupts them

[–] BiggsFFBE@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

They got caught for corruption because of the Qatar WC.

Everybody would think they understood their mistake but…

[–] SanKa1337@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

[–] YnwaMquc2k19@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago
