Using a gorilla/silverback emoji to compliment your team members after a win is 100% different from shouting or mimicking a gorilla to insult someone. I mean… Onana should be the first one to call a racist insult out if it was the case. Garnacho being argentinian does not help and the internet went mad 😂

We all know that completely ending racism is a platitude, there will always be depraved individuals to ruin things. But how the bloody hell does the FA expect to end it from their side when they’re seeing racism where it doesn’t exist and handling situations like this? It’s like the people who say they “hate drama” often seem to be the ones stirring it.
How soft have we become as society is beyond me.
