I’m not saying that Arda has more potential than Messi but the time WILL come when a player better than Messi will emerge. You never know. And more potential doesn’t mean that he will realize his full potential.

Yes but leo messo is still like 12-13 so we have few years

Barca in 2030 will have Pedri, Gavi, Iniesti, and Messo. Then a young British DM name Serge Biscuits will join us and complete a treble winning squad.

Of course there's a chance. But a player as complete as him in this day and age? Football has changed so much in the last 20 years. Tactically and physically all teams have improved a lot, to a point where individual talent that can make a difference is becoming extremely scarce.

That player will also need to have a lot of luck. Being born in a country with chances of winning international trophies. Growing up in one of the best teams in the world, being able to debut at 17 and become world class at 20. Having the winning mentality to care for the game, his well being and living obsessed with football. To not have more than a couple of important injuries in his career and to have the consistency to be the best (or at least top 3) every single year for 20 seasons.

Let's be honest, it's almost impossible.

Took 30 years for players to be compared to Maradona never mind Pele.

Ya sus amk. Rahat bırakın çocuğu.

That's putting it mildly. He's got to perform for about 18 seasons and be injury free, and average a goal a game throughout his career, with a zillion trophies, and be recognised amongst his peers as media as the world's best.

[–] Paapa-Yaw@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

No pressure though.

If you told me Yamal Lamine has more potential than Messi I would say “meh… maybe”. But this guy? No chance lol.

Feel like that part of interview is missing, but now I am no longer his coach I doubt he reaches his full potential.

[–] LordTigrillo@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

They call him Ankara Messi

[–] YouIINeverWaIkAIone@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Makes sense, he was there watching Leo his whole career first-hand
