That was actually a very good interview. Kudos to Morgan for actually listening and being reasonable.

Bassem Youssef is a gem. I've seen him before, and I get the impression that he's going for an egyptian equivalent of John Stewart and nailing it.
There is nothing to argue about. Israel today is what Ukraine would be had Putin managed to overwhelmn the Ukrainian military in the first days of the war. Israel is an illegal nation that do the same things their Arabs and Iran neighbors are doing: assasinations, extra judicial killings, genocide, religious extremism, autocracy, anti press freedom, anti freedom of speech, warmongering, hacking, illegal nukes and weapons. There is no ethical or moral reason for the West to support Israel.
I should clarify - when I mean hear a 'counter argument' I mean listening to right leaning media. I subscribe to Piers Morgan, Sky News etc because although I don't agree with many of the concepts and viewpoints I need to try and understand their reasoning
Just curious- why do you need to understand their reasoning?
It helps me avoid my own echo chamber.
Its interesting to have my views questioned and critcised. It also helps me understand the reasoning of people I don’t agree with. How they formed their ideas and why they believe their view is superior to mine.
Why do we downvote people for asking good questions. Let’s not assume this post means you don’t need to understand their reasoning.
That’s not what it says!
Thanks!
Great interview by Bassem.
Makes people think differently of the ongoing conflicts.
