Don't let the haters win, we all know they complete jobs and do what most can't, they contribute to our world:

While that's true, the 2 hour union mandated nap breaks every 15 minutes are a little bit excessive.

They nap to save energy for the main sleep of the day.

It's tough work, but someone's gotta do it.

Okay capitalists

/s for good measure :)

Someone tell those lazy proletariat cats to get back to work! My hand needs to be patting ultra-soft tummy fluff pronto!

Do we have a c/CatsWithJobs on Lemmy?

Didn't check yet.

That's the more unfortunate side of Lemmy is that for now it's a bit too small in scale to keep small communities like that one alive.

I hope we will grow !

He seems really proud of himself though

One of my cats caught a field vole a couple nights ago and was very proud and wanted us to see it. And then he left it on the floor and went and caught a mouse to also leave on the floor.

Mine brings in live gophers for me to chase around. She's like "You're very lazy and bad at hunting. I can help you with that." Doesn't really put a dent in the gophers destroying my garden though.

Ours kill cockroaches, spiders and lizards. We seldomly find a big roach now and when we do it's belly side up or about to be lol

I just wish they would hunt down the flies but it's too much effort!

[–] Starkstruck@lemmy.world 15 points 2 years ago (1 children)

One of mine almost exclusively goes after flies. It's impressive how fast she can clap one between her paws.

[–] fckreddit@lemmy.ml 7 points 2 years ago

Cats have super fast reaction time. So, they can easily kill flies and mosquitoes.

She works hard for the kibbles

So hard for the kibbles

She works hard for the kibbles so you better treat her right!
