It’s the Hispanidad day, Spain wasn’t going to lose in its national Holiday.

No more hopes for Norway via normal qualification i guess

[–] TheDepartment115@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Sure is, they just gotta beat Spain and Scotland, and hope that Scotland loses away in Georgia.

[–] randomreddit__user@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Yes but that seems a bit unlikely

[–] BannanDylan@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Aye it's unlikely we lose to Georgia to be honest

[–] Follow_The_Lore@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Would make a fun last game though

Imposible no ganar el 12 de octubre VAMOSSSSS

[–] kampiaorinis@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The other thread is stupid, the ref gifted Spain a goal because a goal that shouldn't have stood got disallowed on the other end.

And every comment that is literally and factually wrong, is upvoted. Insane stuff

Now the Scottish fans can focus on the Rugby World Cup, thanks “refs”!

Keep complaining about a goal that had two reasons to be disallowed

[–] BannanDylan@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

He's not interfering with the play and he barely even touched the GK.

The fact the refs can't even decide why they want to call the goal off.

Don't give a toss!

What I give a toss is Scotland were robbed in the first place. Of course the Spanish team, fans and media don't give a shit of what happened earlier. Football has been very cruel to Scotland in this game and I feel sorry for them

[–] deception42@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Oh dear Hickey

[–] rasmuz1@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

thats unfortunate for hickey honestly, hes obviously gassed

[–] EduinBrutus@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The thing that makes football great is that the little guy can win.

You dont really get that in most team sports. Its almost always going to go by the numbers.

But teh way the game is now, its become increasingly clear that the instructions are that the big nations, with their big television budgets are always to be favoured and decisions should be made to ensure their benefit.

The Scotland goal gets chalked off and then retrospectively they try and find a reason. Initially the official line is there is a foul. Eventually that gets changed to offside.

There is nothing as clear that the game is rigged as that.

[–] FurrySire@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Can't help but celebrate loss of bus-parkers; well deserved goal for Spain.

[–] JugonEx@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Lmao keep crying.

[–] JugonEx@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Don't cry too hard mate, you might slip in your own tears.

[–] kampiaorinis@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

So you'd prefer if the goal stood even though it shouldn't? Insane...

[–] EduinBrutus@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Read my post.

The point, and which should be clearly apparent, is that its irrelevant whether the goal should have stood or not. The point is that the clear direction to the match officials was that Spain needed to win and the process by which the goal was disallowed clearly demostrates this corruption.
