Infantino is president of FIFA. FIFA is legendarily corrupt. Infantino defrauded FIFA and used money to buy himself shit. Infantino enjoys the corruption and attention from being at the top. That's just how FIFA rolls.
At worst Trump stole the medal and trophy from a guy who doesn't give a shit. Infantino changed the rules to put his name on the trophy, that's all he cares about. He's cut from the same cloth as Trump.
At least Trump didn't take anything from people who matter. The players weren't screwed by Trump. FIFA screws the players and Trump stole bullshit from FIFA. Fuck them both for making the sport about themselves.

Apparently he did give a fake/new trophy and the FIFA gave him the real one/old one.

It's not really the championship trophy if you didn't earn it. Also when Chelsea eventually lose they'll know how to take L with actual supertankers sportsmanship
