Christopher Lee.

Saruman, Count Dooku, Sherlock, Rasputin and a whole army of Draculas.

[–] Honytawk@lemmy.zip 8 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Don't forget DEATH from the Discworld series

[–] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

When the hell was Christopher Lee Pratchetts death because I NEED that in my life.

[–] CitizenKong@lemmy.world 1 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

I think in Going Postal, which is also the best Pratchett adaptation IMO. It also has the perfect Vetinari in Charles Dance.

[–] iAvicenna@lemmy.world 5 points 6 days ago

he also shed the blood of saxon men. To be more precise 4000 saxon men.

And a guy with an (oddly accurate little) golden gun who also has his own theme song.

[–] JordanZ@lemmy.world 16 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Gonna toss in Doug Jones. If the character is in a full body suit there is a very good chance it’s him. He is an entire legion of monsters.

[–] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 3 points 5 days ago

When you're built like a stickbug, you're gonna get cast to play eldritch creatures 🤷

[–] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 30 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Dee Bradley Baker - Every single Clone Trooper in Star Wars. Good luck, everyone.

[–] Enzyoo@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 6 days ago

Clankas got no chance

[–] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 27 points 6 days ago

And a regular-looking Cumberbatch in the back that keeps saying “pingwings.”

[–] Ensign_Crab@lemmy.world 25 points 6 days ago

Peter Cushing.

Has a Death Star, a TARDIS, and played both Sherlock Holmes and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, so he could give himself whatever bullshit superpowers he wanted.

[–] FanciestPants@lemmy.world 22 points 6 days ago

Tilda Swinton. The Ancient One, The White Witch, the angel Gabriel, and... maybe Alithea from Three Thousand Years of Longing if she has her Djinn wishes.

[–] RQG@lemmy.world 10 points 6 days ago

Having God almighty on his list is pretty good.

[–] No_Money_Just_Change@feddit.org 20 points 6 days ago

Makoto Furukawa

He voiced a hundred anime guys I don't know shit about and saitama from one punch man

[–] invertedspear@lemmy.zip 11 points 6 days ago

Sean Connery:

James Bond

Alan Quartermain (league of extraordinary gentlemen)

Draco (the dragon in Dragonheart)

King Richard

I’m pretty sure King Arthur at some point

An immortal Highlander

Macbeth

That’s a hell of a D&D party.

J. k Simmons: Omniman, Ketheric Thorm, Cave Johnson, and one day he’ll be rid of that menace Spider-Man! Maybe Santa will make that his Christmas present?

[–] Ensign_Crab@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Maybe Santa will make that his Christmas present?

I love that I can't tell if this is a reference to Red One or to that one M&M's commercial.

[–] SlippiHUD@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago

Or Claus, he played Santa in that too

[–] GlendatheGayWitch@lemmy.world 11 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

Liam Neeson would be a force to contend with.

Qui-Gon Jinn

Zeus

Aslan

R'al al Ghul

A-Team

His character in Taken

[–] Black616Angel@discuss.tchncs.de 9 points 6 days ago (1 children)

It's actually Christian Bale.

Best Detective (Batman movies)
Gunslinger (Equilibrium)
Wizard (Howl's Moving Castle) Dragonslayer (Reign of Fire)
Godkiller (Thor Love and Thunder)

Hmmm I seem to recall a lil dragon-slaying mishap that would serve to discredit the skills on that one lol

Any of the 20 main english anime actors? Idk anime actors like that, someone else probably does, but i HAVE skimmed their IMDB's and god damn. Some of these people have 200+ roles in the last decade. There's gotta be some protag typecast whose team could just wipe out entire solar systems with minimal effort.

[–] otter@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 6 days ago

I'll take Tim Curry (minus the rapist, thx) or Alan Rickman, hands down.

Ryan Gosling from Drive and Lars and The Real Girl. They’d be unstoppable.

[–] Lumidaub@feddit.org 98 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Four pictures of characters that David Tennant has played: The Doctor, Crowley, Scrooge McDuck, Kilgrave.

Goes back in time to mess with you, stops time to mess with you, buys your house and your car and your grandma and her dog, tells you to step on a lego.

[–] klemptor@startrek.website 3 points 6 days ago

I swear this man is a gift from god herself

[–] outhouseperilous@lemmy.dbzer0.com 16 points 1 week ago (4 children)

I... I think one of those would be a lot less nice than that.

Morgan Freeman has been God

[–] FanciestPants@lemmy.world 22 points 6 days ago

Could we say that Jim Carrey has also? Along with The Mask, Robotnik, and maybe The Riddler for good measure, he could be pretty formidable.

[–] Noodle07@lemmy.world 16 points 1 week ago

So many times, that's a lot of gods

[–] makeshiftreaper@lemmy.world 64 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Arguably Keanu Reeves, between the time machine and being able to manipulate reality it'd be hard to stop him

[–] omega_x3@lemmy.world 4 points 6 days ago

He was also Constantine

[–] ZoteTheMighty@lemmy.zip 3 points 5 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

The time travel bit would be nerfed because he would be Ted...

[–] Snailpope@lemmy.world 44 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Don't forget the insane hit man skills of John Wick

[–] makeshiftreaper@lemmy.world 47 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Honestly John Wick is pretty tame compared to Neo. When you don't have to be concerned with physics you can make guns do a lot

I'd have to go with Morgan Freeman here. That man has literally been god. And he builds some pretty nice gadgets for Batman

[–] justOnePersistentKbinPlease@fedia.io 40 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Henry Cavill:
Superman, Sherlock Holmes, Geralt of Rivia, Wolverine.

[–] Mist101@lemmy.world 16 points 1 week ago

~~Wolverine~~ Cavillrine

[–] Contentedness@lemmy.nz 31 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Thanos, Cable, Gurney Halleck, Lt. Det. Christian "Bigfoot" Bjornsen.

My man Josh Brolin, of course!

[–] Contentedness@lemmy.nz 22 points 1 week ago

Honourable mention to Cate Blanchette with the unlikely team up of Hela, Galadrial, Bob Dylan and Blanche DuBois.
