RULES

  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
  4. Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world
  5. Keep it clean and SFW
  6. No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

My current car is probably my "dream" car since it's the one I wanted since it came out but had to wait until it was time to replace my old car. It's a Hyundai Kona Ultimate that we own outright but it'd be nice if it was new again, I guess.

My future dream car is a Telo truck but I'll wait a year or two and see how they are once released and actually on the roads.

For what?

For sheer utility I think Toyota HiAce 4wd long version. (Five seats) No need to pack for a trip. Just aim at the hatch. Five guys with bikes and gear? No problem. Large stroller? Just lift it in.

For family use: Mercedes V-class. The high end version (of an already high end car) with seats that can be turned, fridge, leather interior.

Family use and driving pleasure. Most likely a Mercedes AMG estate or BMW M sport tourif estate.

For the sheer pleasure of tinkering and the uselessness of it. El Camino

For just driving. Tough pick. But probably some GT car from Aston Martin, Ferrari, or similar manufacturer.

For track. A Lamborghini super car I can't drive and would spin out in first corner
