This song blows my mind every single time

It only seemed fitting to have Lemmy himself as the icon.

I've heard it a hundred times, and I still teared up a bit when listening to it today. Masterpiece, so emotionally and aurally heavy.
To this day, this is still imo the best intro to a song. Ever.
The intro has a pretty interesting time signature too:
"The Art Of Dying" by Gojira (2008) cycles from 4/4 to 2/4 to 21/16 (grouped 5+5+5+3+3) and repeats this pattern during the intro and beginning of the song.

It’s a difficult one to count for sure. I found this video helpful to better understand it: https://youtu.be/JLYeGJzJMdU
In a recent interview I think Mario said it was the first time they brought this song on your I many years!
They played it when I saw them in June this year :)
This is fantastic news!
Was my third time seeing them and they always deliver a tight performance! Enjoy!
It's a great song - one of their best. But it's way better in concert. Especially outdoors!
Saw them with Mastodon last April and they are indeed amazing live!
Cannot wait. This will be my first time seeing Gojira live
Gojira are the best \m/
@polyrhythm have fun I guess it is this monster America Tour with Mastodon, right?
It's my second fav song from this record after Wolf Down The Earth.
They played it on my gig in Munich this March:

Thanks! Yep it's the Mega-Monsters Tour, stoked to see Mastodon too.
I've been afraid to look at setlists, but that is one helluva setlist right there.
@polyrhythm yeah I don't like to be spoiled on setlits on purpose as well but there were those concerts in the past where youre big favorite song was missing.
Cannot happen on a co-headliner tour with Mastodon. They both have only big songs :-)
We Europeans can be jealous
Congrats on 100 up votes!
