I just watched that movie for the first time last night! Funny that it's referenced today, and you're right

Sounds more like something they accidentally opted into

Surely Google is doing the same,

Anyone have any examples?

Surely, this is now grounds for Google and Meta to be broken up as anti-trust?

I see your point but Facebook and Zuckerburg still got investigated for anti-trust a few weeks ago 🤣

I haven't followed the news since then but it will probably be another slap on the wrist even if Facebook has been chastised, like another fine that is drop in the bucket. Although if it gets persistent, it will affect Facebook's cash flow and revenue. It is one of many reasons why American tech giants have an axe to grind with the EU is because of persistent fine on violating data protection.

I don't understand how this would be grounds for them to be broken up as antitrust. But that is just a technical question about how this particular use of AI is relevant to antitrust law, Google and Meta definitely should be broken up as illegal monopolies.

I think we're gonna need a bit more neck on the guy on the right 🤔

Would have been funnier if it were an ad for Bungie's Marathon...

There’s got to be an online community somewhere that gets off on weird shiny uncanny valley pictures based on whatever the hell was going on with ASMR videos a few years back.
