Are you sure? It's streaming on Disney+ already in regions where they have the rights. The BBC web site has a "watch now" link.

Who knows why that appearance was added to an already complex storyline (in terms of plot, the Doctor didn't have to remember her). I guess it's a case of clickbait (or whatever the term is for including something in a show just to cause online reaction).
