Something that I enjoy doing is telling these fuckwits to their face just how despicable they are. Lay it out in excruciating detail exactly how stupid, ignorant, gullible, and hateful they are and how it directly makes their own life materially worse.

The looks on their faces as I go on and on about their many, MANY flaws and how badly they have fucked up their life brings me joy.

Fuck all oppressors. Throw them all in the meat grinder.

Doesn't work with narcissists like my father. When you try it, they just refuse to acknowledge any of what you're saying. So you're better off talking to the wall.

E.g. "The reason no one will lend you money anymore is because you never pay them back. You can't just call it a friendship test all the time."

Best bet is to just walk away and enjoy your own life.

It's still a friendship test they just didn't realize who was being tested.

Christian children are brought up to love all of God's children.

Then they grow up to hate everyone because the Bible told them so.

The bible is neutral in the production of the hatred, the hate comes from powerful people choosing to justify their hatred with the bible and then ostracizing dissenters who actually apply critically read to the thing.

Framing the bible itself as the cause of hate dismisses the culpability of those who spread hate

Because someone told them the Bible told them so.

I'm starting to understand why some people believe in the simulation theory. Like, this is too dumb to be reality, right? Realizing how utterly stupid and hateful people who voted for this are, is genuinely terrifying. Idiocracy, but worse, because at least the president in it was redeemed.

Fucking hell. Every article I read on whitehouse.gov reads like a bad Twitter post.

In the literal sense: Yes, that's kind of its purpose as a mostly educational channel.

aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice)
