Pandora's box is already open, I don't think that would work. Another approach would be to remove hate speech from being considered free speech. Targeting violence towards minority groups shouldn't be protected by free speech.
Republicans in the Senate are terrified he’ll wreck their careers. I genuinely don’t know what it would take for him to be removed, besides his MAGAt supporters actually calling to have him out of office (we’re past the point of reason). If he gets impeached while Republicans are in power it means he's done as the senate would definitely convict (they like him less than the house).
So third impeachment = removal from office.
I support doing it, but it's ultimately pointless. Nothing will come of it.
