While we're sharing our boundaries, I don't want to hear comparisons between the relative basketball skills of myself and Nikola Jokic. Thank you.

Brooker is better at comedy anyway.
He wrote all the Philomena Cunk specials, as she started as a side character on Newswipe (and then later Screenwipe). She and Barry Shitpeas were regularly interviewed as "Man on the Street" type caricatures for Newswipe. Cunk was so popular she got her own Moments of Wonder series, and then eventually spawned the "Cunk on..." series of films and shows.
The end of Fifteen Million Merits has Daniel Kaluuya essentially doing a Charlie Brooker on Newswipe impression, while holding the shard to his throat. A nice little callout to how Brooker feels about his own career.
Also, Brooker's A Touch of Cloth is a fucking riot, too. Some of the best puns you can ask for.
I'd take more Newswipe or any of the various Wipes over Black Mirror at this point, but that's just me.
Relatedly, Severance is already running out of steam. Season 2 didn't measure up to season 1, in my personal opinion. Unless they really bring it back in Season 3 I'm probably done with it. I liked Adam Scott's quick cameo in The Monkey.
Neither does he deserve them.
I mean, I love Black Mirror. I would watch 1000 seasons of it. Even the mediocre ones, but Severance is once in a lifetime.
