I know that Caseoh has said in the past that he's done everything in Granny and that he has no reason to play it again. BUT. HERE COMES MY BUT.

I genuinely believe that the Nightmare Mode in Granny 1 on extreme difficulty is something special that he should play. It's much MUCH scarier than the usual extreme mode and it offers unique changes to the visuals and gameplay.

Visual Differences Every single area is retextured, adding copious amounts of blood to every nook and cranny of the house. The Bear Traps left around the house are replaced with more fleshy, organic variants that pulse and squirm.

Auditory Differences The normal piano music is replaced with a creepier, more ambient track orchestrated for various string instruments. A much more intense orchestral track is played when Granny is chasing the Player, which gets louder the longer she is on their trail. When Granny screams at the player, a dramatic orchestral hit plays. The Player's footsteps sound stickier, as the floors are coated in blood. Bear Traps make strange, squishy noises, and even make an animalistic screech when stepped in, implying that they are alive.

Gameplay Differences Granny has 2 extra "pets": Spectral Rats roam the house freely, and although they can't knock out the player, they are capable of biting them in self defense. Upon being bitten, a black vignette will appear along the edges of the screen, hindering the player's vision, and the sound will also alert Granny, alerting her to your current location.
