It's also infuriating that cars still take funding priority, when there's obviously a massive demand (and need) for more public transportation options here.

I think I count 20 people at the bus stop, so to be generous, I'm assuming 1.4 people per car, which would be ~14 cars. I count 17 cars on the road from the far right of the picture to the bus (including the car in the right turn lane, not counts the cars in the driveway, or that cute micro-car).

Yeah but then you would have to walk to the bus stop, which takes time away from me losing weight at the gym

I had a neighbour in Montréal who would drive to the same gym as me (700m away), and then walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes to warm up.

The part about exercise (walking) taking time away exercise (the gym) was a joke.
