I think the way forward clearly is to use kbin for everything - it will take a while but it will work out eventually... but if you find yourself accidentally clicking on RIF or browsing Reddit.com over the next few days you NEED to downvote everything to zero that you see.

Reddit is what it is due to the moderators AND the user activity - upvotes/downvotes. The mods have pretty much deserted. If we can neutralise the up/downs then everything has gone to shit for them :).

The Great Downvote for the Reddit experience - zero. That's what the IPO price should aim towards.
