You know a good union would prevent this kind of thing.
I dunno back in the day Unions weren't above using violence to get their message across.
Being willing to commit property destruction is a minimum requirement of a union imo.
Being willing to dispose of a boss in a ditch is a minimum requirement for a good union. Actually doing the property destruction is another minimum.
Unfortunately, I don't believe we have many or any good unions left.

Well it was usually in response to an escalation of violence by the State
An even better union would have done it a decade or two ago.

Anyone actually read the (Christian website) article? He was newly hired to be CFO. This was not class uprising. Crazy guy stabbed someone.

I can't tell if they say these types of things to be cautious about jumping to unknown conclusions (good journalism) or they're being willfully obtuse.
I'm not sure why he did it either, but reading that article I have a good guess.
