The Alsayed brothers lost their mother in the first bombing. They thought the White House could help save the survivors.

In Gaza, daylight was fast approaching. Diaa Alsayed was still in touch with his surviving family in Jabalia. Some of the stranded relatives had been bleeding for hours. Around 7:30 a.m., a local doctor finally managed to get into their house and take the injured children away. The doctor said he would return to help the surviving adults get out.

About 15 minutes later, Diaa got devastating news. The doctor and most of the children had been killed. And the house had been attacked again. Only one of his brothers and his nephew had survived.

Silly me for thinking IDF would pass up the chance to take out a doctor and a bunch of kids. Fucking monsters.

You know how fucked up is this? But any other country name instead of Israel and see the outrage.

[–] granolabar@kbin.melroy.org 12 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Just goes to show you how the new and outrage get manufactured...

We are out raged now but we are peasants gonna do about it? Screen at the screen that says Israel is our greatest ally?

Maybe someone will shoot the CEO of Israel

[–] wildbus8979@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Pretty sure that has happened before.

Rabin wasn't an asshole tho, and he was assassinated by a far right ultranationalist.

Israel murders other nationals, not just Palestinians? Paint me surprised.

The Alsayed brothers

I imagine the victim had not the right amount of melanin for the world to care about them, regardless of citizenship.

Also, since when does the US care about its citizens?

[–] NoneOfUrBusiness@fedia.io 14 points 2 weeks ago

I mean they killed Rachel Corrie so... Israel doesn't need to follow the melanin laws.

[–] jagged_circle@feddit.nl 3 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

The article is about murdering of Palestinians. The family abroad in the US that gave the coordinates to try to allow a hospital to reach them was not murdered

Its a really good article. Please read it.

Hey I don't wish harm on the Biden family, but if Netanyahu accidentally bombed Hunter Biden, maybe Joe would cut off the funds to israel?

Again, I do not wish harm on the Biden family, but just saying...

I don't wish harm on the Biden family

Personally I do wish SOME harm on Biden senior for being an awful president who fell asleep at the wheel when the country and indeed the world needed decisive action to defend from the approaching fascist takeover..

Not anything physical or anything. I just want him to be miserable for the rest of his life, however short of a period that may be 🤷

[–] leftytighty@slrpnk.net 12 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

let's also give some blame to the DNC for pushing that dud on everyone

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 2 weeks ago

ABSOLUTELY!

[–] OccamsTeapot@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

but if Netanyahu accidentally bombed Hunter Biden, maybe Joe would cut off the funds to israel?

Great question. You'd think so wouldn't you? But then why do the 40k + whatever we're at now other innocent people's families not matter? Isn't that so interesting

He had over a year to fix this. He failed Palestine and he failed every morally centered person not only in the US, but all around the world. And now it will only get worse with the rapist in chief. He is a disgrace.

I don't wish physical harm on him. I want him tried for knowingly aiding a genocide.

Joe only broke norms and pardoned his son because he cares about his family more than "norms".

He might not a shit about everyone else, but I think he at least cares about his family as evident by his pardon of Hunter Biden.

I suspect he might do the same and break the "norms" regarding US support for Israel if his family was attacked by israel.

Just a speculation, we don't know unless we actually end up on that timeline.

Edit: Btw my comment was a joke about how much Joe did for Hunter compared to what he did for everyone else in the world.

[–] OccamsTeapot@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

Yeah you're probably right. It would be quite stark to see the contrast between what happens when you kill Hind Rajab and thousands like her vs Hunter. Like somehow he suddenly understands what we've all been screaming for over a year.

Btw my comment was a joke about how much Joe did for Hunter compared to what he did for everyone else in the world.

Absolutely! I got that and agree. My frustration was directed at him, not you.

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 14 points 2 weeks ago

I mean yeah, there's nothing Israel loves more than killing Americans. Well well no that's probably not accurate, they love killing Palestinians and Lebanese and a whole mess of people. However they really get a lot of Joy killing Americans. They know they can do it with utter impunity.

When emergency workers were finally able to reach the Alsayed home in Jabalia, they came upon the bodies of the doctor and the children in the street, according to Karim al-Hassani, one of the first responders on the scene. A video taken by emergency workers shows the bodies of several members of the Alsayed family, including the youngest, 1-and-a-half-year-old Amal, who has a trickle of blood running down her head.
