I sent this email to the writer:

Is there any expansion push back from the people in Alameda, specifically Bay Farm?

I work in Bay Farm adjacent to where the planes take off. I've noticed strong fuel smells in the morning especially when there is high humidity. These fumes cannot be good for long time residents.
