United States President Joe Biden's administration has allowed Ukraine to use US-made weapons to strike deep into Russia, two US officials and a source familiar with the decision say.

It is a significant reversal of US policy in the Ukraine-Russia conflict.

Ukraine plans to conduct its first long-range attacks in the coming days, the sources said, without revealing details due to operational security concerns.

I really do hope I'm wrong in this but I feel like this may be a case of "too little, too late". We all know what's going to happen to US aid to Ukraine once Trump becomes President. And then it's just a question of whether or not EU weapons and support will be enough.

About bloody time. Hopefully this will encourage other countries to do the same.

Seems like the UK and France just waited for the US to lift the restrictions.

Give them something able to strike Moscow.

I would hope for it to be evacuated beforehand, but I would be fully supportive of Moscow being leveled to the ground.
