Isn't part of the problem with straws that turtles see them and try to eat them? Clearly that's what this image is depicting.
Yup, that's why I use plastic straws when turtle fishing.
Regular turtles hate them.
Teenage mutant ninja turtles are built different.
Turtles may hate straws, but ninjas LOVE straws, which explains why he’s using it with an angry face

Nah, this is from the 2003 series. I think it lasted five years.
I grew up in the 90's and we only had the live action movies. The cartoons came later
