I feel like there's a suicide something or other all over Japan and it makes me sad. Just off the top of my head I can think of this, the suicide forest, the sea wall on Mitsubishi Island, nijino bridge, that one train station in Tokyo... Shits depressing

The US has quite a few too, mainly big bridges or deserts. Not sure what popular Europe spots there are.

The dorm where I lived during university was known as the Jump Tower.
About one student per semester committed suicide by jumping off its roof.

I was unaware that there are were two from that time period.

There's another one in Okinawa which is now known as Peace Prayer (or Memorial) Park.
