....and that's why I don't have one of those smart tvs! In my house we do it old style and the only data harvesting is done by my computer, phone and alexa.

Wait so even a roku and fire stick? So there's really no avoiding the smart TV conundrum besides buying a screen, or keeping an old TV.

For PiHole, I recommend Google TV (fka android tv) over most others simply because you can specify static IP settings, including PiHole as DNS. This is useful for those that cannot set the PiHole as their default DNS on DHCP due to some conflict or another.
