Not to mention the massive destruction that they've inflicted on the farming communities. Families go into massive debt building facilities to the mega's standards, then get clawed back on their contracts until they're working for free in order to not go bankrupt. It's insane what's been done to farmers by these assholes.

well they did play themselves.

here in mexico the chicken supply chain is absolutely robustly organic by the nature of chickens lifecycles not by design. literally any human with a hand to place water can raise hundreds lf chickens. and then easily sell them to slaughter.

only in the united states do people go to prison for raising food on their apartment terrace

landowner farmers dont get my sympathy

Zero accountability, zero concept of monopoly, anti-trust, welcome to Capitalism, still the same as old Capitalism.

Not a democracy but a corporatocracy.

I pay $7.99aud/kg for chicken in Australia and it's organic, free range chicken.

There was a farmer growing sustainable heritage breed chicken for up to about $20/kg in my area. He was using the chickens to revegetate waste lands to native forest.
