Not a hero. I just post news. I don't generate them. Though sometimes people react to my posts positively or negatively as if I do.

I think the hero bit was for linking to the prior number to provide meaningful context. That's why I upvoted the hero comment.

Unfortunately Arabs are such a miniscule population in the US, no federal or state level politician in the US would care for them.

It is true but the margins in the swing states are narrow enough for it to make a difference:

  • In Michigan, for example, Biden won in 2020 by 154,000 votes. Census estimates put the state's Arab American population around at least 278,000.
  • Biden won Arizona by 10,500 votes. The Arab American population in the Grand Canyon State is estimated to be 60,000.
  • Biden took Georgia by 11,800 votes. The Arab American population there is at least 57,000.
