LoglinesPart I: Thanks to Wesley Crusher's timely intervention, the cadets find the Protostar – but the ship's marooned guardian isn't eager for their assistance.

Part II: Chakotay and the cadets devise a bold but perilous plan to relaunch the Protostar. Before the ship can fly, however, it will first have to sail.

That was certainly unexpected - I love the concept of having to sail the Protostar across the atmosphere.

Beltran's work as Chakotay this season has actually been really good - this might be the first time I've ever been invested in the character.

Adreek's weird bone horns showing up where his living head didn't look like it had any kind of raised my eyebrows. I didn't care much for the Matrix-like tunnel chase sequence but I did like the sailing sequence and Chakotay's heart-to-heart with Dal.
