I was very randomly banned from the "real" 196 and never got unbanned, even after notifying the admins 3 times without response.

maybe consider (temporarily? permanently?) hiding vote-count on posts, to make it seem less dead in here. it doesn't matter how many votes a post has; it just matters whether it's higher or lower than others. for functional reasons, at least.
or we could just all stop caring about the vote count instead! why even pay attention to that? I'd honestly rather have two good comments on a post than 300 upvotes, or view counts, or whatever. couldn't care less about any of those.
