What's is like to walk around in platforms? I can't imagine it feels natural.
It's not as weird as you'd think. With platforms your feet are still in roughly normal shoe positioning, so it's kinda like walking on stairs or across a bunch of blocks but you know you'll always land on a block big enough for your foot. The real weird ones are the platform heels where you might have like 8in of heel with 2in of platform at the stomping part. Those are sketchy AF to walk in
I always wished I was born in a later generation so I could have worn those sneakers.
