After harvest I will mow them down to 5cm, fertilize, and then as runners grow I will collect them and start a new patch as this one will have run its course

The neighbourhood rats ate nearly all my strawberries the last two years so this year I transplanted them into hanging baskets. I see lots of berries growing so I am crossing my fingers we get to eat some this year!
How do you measure strawberries in volume? Blend them and then the resulting liquid? Or just roughly the volume of the strawberries in one bucket?
Well I fill up 1 gallon zip locks and freeze them
Yes. But mostly the latter.
