Mabuhay at maligayang pag-alis sa Lemmy! ✈️

An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! 🇵🇭

Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.

Just wanna share that ₱-37000 Asus Vivobook 💻 (please see the pic above), if anyone is looking for a great-value 💻. Core i7-12650h at 37000 on Lazada. Great deal. I bought a Ryzen-7-5800h Asus Vivobook from Lazada in December 2023. If I knew that 12650h Vivobook then, I'd pick the 12650h.

What are your thoughts on Framework? Wala pa sa Pinas pero is it a good quality when compared to other laptops?

perfect for DIY-ers plaything got an old framework mainboard?

  1. buy those usbc to lan modules and 3d print your self your own router
  2. turn it into a handheld
  3. if you're a god at engineering create you own dual screen laptop akin to the asus zenbook duo / lenovo yoga book 9i
  4. in to music production? usbc to headphone jack modules got you covered

the only problem is availability tbh I would've bought it

I like that it's eco-friendly. Idk re its quality. I hope it's robust. The idea is that you'll keep the body for many years and just change parts. The body should be truly robust.
