3 games in, fielding can use some help here.. as well as hitting...

I'm curious to see how they do with Gasman on the mound today; losing or splitting the series with the Rays will set different tones. 3 games in, hitting and pitching have underhwhelmed and infield defence has been bad (13th/15 in AL fielding %).

I'd like to see us put up some more runs in the first inning. I like Ernie Clement. I think he'll be our primary 3B later this season, because his fielding's solid and his bat is much better than IKF's. Biggio's looked good so far; Bo's had a tough start. Jansen can't come back soon enough.

I like that we have 3 power bats that can come off the bench - Turner, Vogelbach, and probably Votto at some point. I don't like how limiting it is that none of them are serviceable fielding a position (maybe Votto at 1B).

It's interesting to note that the Yankees swept the Astros in Texas to start the season. I'm surprised the Yanks took all 3 from the general fave to represent the AL in the world series

I imagine and hope for.. a split.. Aha Kevin G on the mount, splitting things up. Clement can play 3rd today. He did well yesterday and I hope no more of this sloppy infield plays..

Your splitter joke is the joke of the season so far! I might create a post for the Astros series and then the Yankees series to have more posts on this community
