☹️ we don't value our real shareholders
The problem is that they only serve the shareholders not the stakeholders.
We all have a stake in the world being healthy and able to keep humans alive.
Companies that care more about the share prices and paying dividends will let the world burn to get their executive team an extra payout when they take their retirement package and sell their stocks.
Great point. Stakeholder is a much better term.
