I think we need transcripts of what a player says to officials to warrant a red or yellow card. It'll be the only way players alter how they speak to refs as they will be concerned about their image and brand.

have you seen f1? expletives definitely does not alter image and brand. in fact, the people love it, because you know, much more relatable!

I think it would in relation to dealing with officials. All the F1 expletives are between team members rather than to officials.

I've got no problem with players swearing at each other at all because like you said its more relatable and its real life.

Using F1 as an example if Toto started swearing at the race director after THE final race last season with the horrendous decision with the safety car I feel like he would be in trouble.
