Is he the only football player to go to Saudi that support the LGBTQ+ or something?

He never supported LGBTQ+. He lied. For clout/money. He's just an old fashioned terrible person, nothing more, nothing less.

But plenty of other players who have gone to Saudi have done the same thing as him but yet its only Henderson that's getting so much public grief over it

Most didn’t get an MBE because of their stances and work they did. All of which seems empty and false now.

To answer your original question. He gave more public support to LGBTQ people than any other player that I saw. Off the top of my head, other players who've gone to Saudi Arabia barely spoke about it beforehand, if ever.

So that's why he gets so much grief. He put himself at the forefront of the conversation and then decided he didn't care about it anymore, as long as he could get an even more ridiculous salary than he was already on.
