micromobility - Ebikes, scooters, longboards: Whatever floats your goat, this is micromobility
Ebikes, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, longboards, eboards, motorcycles, skates, unicycles: Whatever floats your goat, this is all things micromobility!
"Transportation using lightweight vehicles such as bicycles or scooters, especially electric ones that may be borrowed as part of a self-service rental program in which people rent vehicles for short-term use within a town or city.
micromobility is seen as a potential solution to moving people more efficiently around cities"

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:
Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.
Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.
Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

Love my S18. It serves all my needs and I have no plans on getting a new one any time soon.
But I gotta say, not trying to be judgemental, this is is just me, but I feel like if you want to go much faster than 20-30mph, especially on the road, an EUC is a really poor choice. They're just not very safe at high speeds compared to other options like an ebike. And of course, if I'm going to be going fast on a powered bike on the road. a motorcycle will go even faster and often will be safer due to the better suspension and bigger tires.
Anyways, I have EUC's, eScooters, eBikes, BEV car and a motorcycle license (though I don't have a street bike at the moment) so I have options. Everyone can make their own decisions when it comes to issues of personal safety that don't affect other people. Wear a helmet or don't, ride a 50mph EUC or don't, you're only potentially hurting yourself and most of us are old enough to decide for ourselves. :-D
Agreed, it's pretty dangerous, I just love it. I love that I can go anywhere and easily hop up and down curbs.
One of the best features for me is that I can ride on the sidewalk when the bike lane is sketchy, and if there is a pedestrian then I can easily hop off the curb back into the bike lane.
I also love bringing it in cafes and stores without having to lock it up. It feels almost like a skateboard, functionally. I hate having to park and lock my other PEVs.
